The Farmers' Unions, who have been protesting against the 3 controversial farm laws, announced that they will march towards the Parliament in New Delhi on February 1, if their demands are not met, i.e., repealing those laws. On that day, the Union Budget will be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
"On 1 February, we will march on foot towards Parliament in Delhi from different locations," said Darshan Pal, Chief of Krantikari Kisan Union.
This announcement came just a day before the 'Tractor March' by farmers on Republic Day for which the Delhi Police gave permission.
Farmers have been protesting against the Central Government's 3 controversial farm laws which the government calls 'reform'.
