Facebook and Instagram remove more than 22 lakh ads

Facebook and Instagram removed more than 22 lakh ads and 1.22 lakh posts from their platform.

They have also put a warning tag on 15 crore posts which spread fake news.

This was done because these ads and posts were targeted at influencing the 2020 US Presidential Elections which is going to take place on 3 November.
