Chinese soldier held by Indian Security Forces in Ladakh

 

A Chinese soldier has been caught by the Indian Security Forces in the Chumar-Demchok area of Ladakh on Monday.

"The People's Liberation Army (PLA) soldier will be returned to the Chinese Army as per established protocol after following due procedure", the army said in a statement.

Since months both countries have amassed thousands of troops following a deadly clash in June.
