Unemployed Jharkhand man kills father to get government job on compassionate ground

A 35-year-old unemployed Jharkhand man allegedly killed his 55-year-old father to get a job in a PSU on compassionate ground.

The father worked as the head security guard posted in Central Workshop of CCL at Barkakana in Ramgarh district was found dead with throat slit early on Thursday. His elder son had killed him at his quarter in Barkakana on Wednesday night by slitting his throat and has also confessed that he did so, said the police.

As per provisions of CCL, legal dependent of an employee would be given a job if the employee dies during his service tenure.
